Hi everyone, after a long time (see the latest discussion about Lingua Libre Bot); Lingua Libre Bot has started to run on your wiki to add audio pronunciation recorded on Lingua Libre. Previous test reported no problem so Lingua Libre Bot should run just fine. If you see any problem, do not hesitate to block the bot and to report the problem here or on my talk page. - Finally, it was easy to implement. I run the bot again to fix the missing new line issue and to add missing audio pronunciations (I have stopped the bot when I saw new lines were missing). In addition, it does not add more audio pronunciations if at least 5 pronunciations are already present (it looks for deng template). However it does not remove the audio pronunciations that are already present. Yet, if you are interested in, I can create a list of entries that have more than 5 audio pronunciations, so thatyou can review manually and may remove some pronunciations. - Hi Ghybu, I have modified the bot so that it adds new line when there is none before the next section. For the list of entries that have more than 5 pronunciations, I am generating it (it will takes a few days, the time required to check all pages). I think there are several thousands of entries in this list. If you wish, I can try to remove extra pronunciations by bot, so that they are limited to 5. - The bot is still running but here is a list of entries with more than 5 audio pronunciations already detected: Bikarhêner:Pamputt/List. The first column is the Wikidata QID of the language, second column is the entry title and the third column is the number of audio recordings currently present of the page. - I looked a little at the other pronunciations: there are pronunciations which aren't local. For example the Spanish pronounced by an American or the English pronounced by a French or a Japanese. - If I understand correctly, you would like Lingua Libre Bot add pronunciations in « Category:Lingua Libre pronunciation-kur » in the kmr section, and not in the "ku" section, right? I cannot do that because there are many possible error if I add manually such rule. For example, one of the first file is LL-Q36368 (kur)-Dildadil-alîkarî.wav which is for alîkarî but there is only a "ku" section in this page. Does it mean I should not add this pronunciation in this section? Moreover how to be sure that all future speakers that will record word in Kurdish (and use the "ku" code on Lingua Libre) will all speak Kurmandji and not another Kurdish language? This means that if you want Lingua Libre Bot adds pronunciation in the "kmr" section, then words have to be recorded on Lingua Libre by specifying that they are Kurmanji (kmr) words, and not simply Kurdish (ku) words. - About the non-native pronunciation, it is not easy to implement. One example explaining why: you take the example of Spanish word that is pronounced by an American. Actually, there are probably millions of American whose the mother tongue is Spanish, simply because they are Mexico (or other countries) emigrants, or maybe their parents are migrant. - @Pamputt: What I wanted to say is that currently, all the pronunciations that are in this category are in Kurmanji language (kmr). It may be necessary to modify them on Lingua Libre precisely so as not to have any confusion.
- Note about us (ku.wiktionary): We use the code "ku" instead of "kmr" for the Kurmanji language because it's the language of this wiki: here Kurdish section (kurdî) refers to the Kurmanji language.
- The kmr code is only used when in the same page there are several Kurdish dialects (to differentiate them), example bapîr Ghybu (gotûbêj) 22:51, 10 sibat 2023 (UTC)

- The Editing team will finish adding new features to the Talk pages project and deploy it.
- They are beginning a new project, Edit check.
Talk pages project
The Editing team is nearly finished with this first phase of the Talk pages project. Nearly all new features are available now in the Beta Feature for Amûrên gotûbêjê.
It will show information about how active a discussion is, such as the date of the most recent comment. There will soon be a new "Mijarekê lê zêde bike" button. You will be able to turn them off at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing-discussion. Please tell them what you think.
An A/B test for Amûrên gotûbêjê on the mobile site has finished. Editors were more successful with Amûrên gotûbêjê. The Editing team is enabling these features for all editors on the mobile site.
New Project: Edit Check
The Editing team is beginning a project to help new editors of Wikipedia. It will help people identify some problems before they click "Guhartinan biweşîne". The first tool will encourage people to add references when they add new content. Please watch that page for more information. You can join a conference call on 3 March 2023 to learn more.
